**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Theatre Box Office Coordinator to join our team at the Municipality of Chatham-Kent. This permanent part-time position will work 20 hours per week and be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling ticket sales, and maintaining accurate records.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide professional and courteous service to customers in person and over the phone
  • Sell tickets and respond to inquiries related to the Chatham Capitol Theatre, the Chatham Kiwanis Theatre, and CK Tickets
  • Organize tickets and provide accessibility information for evening and weekend box office staff
  • Reconcile daily sales and prepare reports for financial purposes
  • Process online sales and verify daily reports
  • Prepare edits and bank deposit forms
  • Summarize cash, cheque, and POS transactions for daily reports and bank deposits
  • Assist with refund requests and customer inquiries

**Requirements:**

  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent education, with six (6) months to two (2) years of related experience
  • Related box office or theatre experience preferred
  • Experience handling cash and strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office (or similar software)

**Benefits:**

This position offers an hourly wage of $17.00 to $17.54 and includes vacation and statutory benefits in accordance with Employment Standards Act.
