We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at Code Ninjas (Port Credit). As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in a similar role and possess excellent organizational skills. You will be required to arrange seminars, conferences, and meetings, as well as supervise and train other workers. Additionally, you will be responsible for recording minutes of meetings, establishing office procedures, and scheduling appointments.

Responsibilities
  • Seminar and Conference Coordination: Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and meetings to ensure their success.
  • Supervision and Training: Supervise and train other workers to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their tasks efficiently.
  • Minute Recording: Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences to maintain accurate records.
  • Office Procedures: Establish and maintain office procedures to ensure efficient operations.
  • Appointments: Schedule and confirm appointments with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask, excellent oral and written communication skills.
Working Conditions

The selected candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will require attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. The position is permanent and requires a 30-40 hour workweek.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000-$65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
