Dermatology Healthcare Specialist

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment? Rejuvenation Medical Group, Western Canada's fastest-growing family of dermatology and multi-disciplinary medical offices, is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team.
Role OverviewThe primary function of this role is to assist physicians by preparing exam rooms, taking patient histories, and performing skills such as suturing, biopsies, and excisions as directed by the physician. This role is also accountable for ensuring patients receive exceptional care and are provided with an outstanding experience throughout their visit with their physician.
Key Responsibilities- Treat various skin conditions, including acne, eczema, rashes, skin cancer, atopic dermatitis, hair loss, and skin infections.
- Observe, assess, monitor, and document patient symptoms, reactions, and progress.
- Perform basic medical and cosmetic procedures, educate, and inform patients about self-care, medication management, and disease prevention.
- Responsible for medical device reprocessing between patients to ensure proper sterilization of equipment.
- Assist physicians with charting and billing needs.
- LPN diploma from an accredited institution.
- Perioperative Nursing certificate from an accredited institution.
- Current registration within the provincial licensing body.
- Active CPR certification.
- 2+ years of private or public practice nursing experience.
- Previous experience in the dermatology sector (preferred).
- Experience using MedAccess (preferred).
- A competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
