At Harrison Healthcare, we are seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our team of healthcare professionals. This part-time role offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role

This position involves providing counseling and coaching services to clients in alignment with their personalized health plans. You will collaborate with clients and the healthcare team to support the development and execution of client-specific health plans. Your comprehensive nutrition assessments will determine appropriate interventions, and you will review client charts, lab results, and referrals to prepare for consultations.

You will also prepare detailed reports on clients' health status, including test and assessment outcomes. Tailoring individualized care plans to address each client's unique nutritional needs is essential. Educating and coaching clients on health promotion, disease prevention, and self-care strategies is crucial. Empowering clients and their families to actively engage in goal setting and action planning for improved health outcomes is key to this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A degree from a recognized university dietetic program
  • Succesful completion of a dietetic internship practicum
  • Passed the National Competence Examination (Canadian Dietitian Registration Exam)
  • Registration with the College of Registered Dietitians for Alberta
  • Clinical experience in primary healthcare
