Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design innovative solutions using computer-aided design (CAD) tools.
  • Lead and manage projects, ensuring compliance with budgets and quality of work.
  • Supervise internal resources and subcontractors assigned to projects.
  • Establish and update schedules, ensure equipment bidding, and participate in commissioning and configuration of installed equipment.
  • Organize launch, project follow-up, and post-mortem meetings.
  • Support other departments and act as a technical reference.
  • Prepare and update documentation required for proper equipment operation, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, laws, and regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or relevant training.
  • An Ontario Professional Engineers (PEO) license.
  • Relevant experience in Health and Safety and manufacturing environments, an asset.
  • Knowledge of CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong communication skills and team spirit.
  • Oustanding planning and design skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Availability to travel between sites and manage projects in different locations within the Greater Toronto area.
  • A valid driver's license and passport.
