Operations Manager – Manufacturing Line

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our manufacturing line team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes, managing resources effectively, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning and Management: Develop and implement effective production plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies to meet business objectives.
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of production staff, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure excellent performance and job satisfaction.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that all products meet or exceed customer expectations and industry standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall productivity.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, track stock movements, and optimize storage and handling procedures to minimize waste and excess inventory.
- Maintenance and Equipment Management: Oversee regular maintenance of equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Requirements
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate; degree in a related field (e.g., operations management, business administration) is an asset.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Skills and Qualifications: Excellent leadership and communication skills; ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions; strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software tools.
Benefits
Competitive salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year; comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage; paid time off and holidays; professional development opportunities.
