Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our team at St Catharines Medical Office. The successful candidate will provide exceptional administrative support to our healthcare team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Coordinate appointments, scheduling, and reminders
  • Process and manage medical billing and insurance claims
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and photocopying
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with healthcare professionals, patients, and families
  • Stay up-to-date with changing healthcare policies, procedures, and regulations
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
