About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our Treasury Sales team in Canada. As a key member of our Global Commercial Banking team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding existing business relationships, and servicing clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and direct treasury management sales activities to include new treasury management capabilities in the team's business.
  • Expand existing business relationships and service clients.
  • Manage the execution of revenue and balance sheet growth, profitability improvement, effective client calling and planning, portfolio development, pricing strategy, proposal responses, and presentations.
  • Consult and strategize across Sales, Client Services and Fulfillment, Operations, Risk, Legal and Compliance, and Marketing to drive client-based solutions and coordination for complex proposals/client presentations with the Treasury Sales Officer.
  • Provide strategic guidance and influence in annual Client Planning by core relationships and top-prospective clients.
  • Maintain good client relationships and identify business opportunities through effective interaction with internal business partners and effectively cross-selling other products/bank's global capabilities.
  • Provide unlimited client interactions and broaden relationships with on-site or virtual meetings, industry conferences, roundtables, and client events.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate or commercial banking sector, preferably in treasury sales with exposure to US and international treasury management.
  • Proven negotiation and active listening skills with strong executive presence.
  • Effectively manages risk while balancing the needs of the client, the team, and the bank.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • International Cash Management and Trade & Supply Chain Finance experience.
  • Ability to articulate the evolution of cash management and the impact of digital/innovation within the treasury space.
