Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Treasury Sales Executive to lead our Global Product Solutions business for Global Commercial Banking in Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving revenue and balance sheet growth, improving profitability, and delivering exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Revenue Growth and Balance Sheet Management: Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth and improve balance sheet management for our clients.
  2. Client Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions to meet their business objectives.
  3. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of Treasury Sales Officers, Client Officers, and Analysts to achieve business objectives and deliver exceptional results.
  4. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and improve client satisfaction.
  5. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with client relationships and business operations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  1. 10-15+ years of experience in corporate or commercial banking, preferably in treasury sales with exposure to US and international treasury management.
  2. Proven negotiation and active listening skills with strong executive presence.
  3. Excellent critical/strategic thinking and problem resolution skills.
  4. Demonstrates the ability to foster strong partnerships within the core team and build sincere rapport with client contacts.
  5. Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  2. International Cash Management and Trade & Supply Chain Finance experience.
  3. Strong understanding of working capital metrics and the cash conversion cycle.
  4. Ability to articulate the evolution of cash management and the impact of digital/innovation within the treasury space.
  5. Intrinsically motivated to continuously improve processes and/or one's own education.
  6. Exercises the desire to mentor and sponsor other teammates.
  7. Certified Treasury Professional certification or equivalent.
