About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Regional Health Operations Director to provide executive, strategic, and operational leadership to our Regional Team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading health operations in a regional setting, with a strong background in strategic leadership and team management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide executive and strategic leadership to the Regional Team, including regional engagement, operations, and support services.
  • Act as the Senior Regional Executive, working collaboratively with regional and centralized departments and teams to provide regional engagement and operations responsibilities.
  • Develop and implement innovative and culturally appropriate approaches to health and wellness, in partnership with communities and Regional Health Authorities.
  • Lead and supervise staff members, including Directors, Managers, specialists, and other staff.

Requirements

  • University Degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Master's Degree in a relevant field is considered an asset.
  • Recent, relevant, and significant experience in leading health operations in a regional setting (usually acquired over a period of 10 or more years).
  • Recent, relevant, and significant experience in strategic leadership of diverse teams engaged in community engagement and operations (usually acquired over a period of 10 or more years).
  • Recent, relevant, and significant senior management experience in First Nations Health (usually acquired over a period of 10 or more years).
  • Experience working with First Nations/Aboriginal people at a community and/or political level, including work in the area of community engagement and community/organizational development and health.
