Position Overview

The First Nations Health Authority seeks a dedicated and experienced Executive Director to lead our Regional Team in Prince George, BC. This vital role focuses on supporting the health and well-being of Indigenous communities across the region.

As the leader of this team, you will be responsible for overseeing regional operations, engagement initiatives, and support services across various areas including Funding Arrangements, Nursing, Mental Health, Finance, and Human Resources. Your expertise will be instrumental in collaborating with First Nations communities and health authorities to develop innovative health and wellness strategies tailored to the unique needs of the region.

Requirements

  • A University Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is essential.
  • A Master's Degree in a related field is highly valued.
  • Extensive experience leading health operations within a regional setting is required.
  • A proven track record of strategic leadership and management within the First Nations Health sector is crucial.
  • A strong background working with Indigenous communities and organizations is essential for success in this role.
