About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Regional Director to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our organization and ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to our communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to our Allied Health Clinical Education and Professional Practice team
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve the quality of care and services delivered by our Allied Health professionals
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and address gaps in service delivery and develop solutions to improve patient outcomes
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals to achieve our organizational goals and objectives
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our community partners and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related healthcare discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Seven to ten years of recent, related experience in a complex healthcare environment, including at least three years of progressively senior leadership experience
  • Current practicing registration in a related allied health profession with an applicable regulatory body/association
  • Comprehensive knowledge of health profession regulatory framework and bodies, including the Health Professions and Occupations Act
  • Ability to foster collaborative and effective working relationships to support professional practice, clinical education, and ongoing development of staff
