Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Manager to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure staff are meeting performance expectations.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, including maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that customer satisfaction is maintained.
- Supervision: Supervise a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods and maintaining a high level of energy and productivity.
- Personal Suitability: Possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and management.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
- Work Setting: Fast food outlet or concession.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and team player.
