Job Summary

Fraser Health is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the Employee Experience - Systems and Reporting department. As Director of Employee Experience Systems, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of information systems and applications that support the organization's vision, values, and purpose.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Employee Experience - Systems and Reporting department, ensuring effective use of resources and adherence to data management practices.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of information systems and applications, ensuring data integrity and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with end-users and operational leaders to identify needs, determine costs, and provide recommendations for system development and implementation.
  • Recruit, train, and manage assigned staff, conducting performance reviews, disciplines, and terminations as necessary.
  • Oversee an assigned budget, ensuring effective use of resources and adherence to organizational financial policies.
  • Develop consolidated reports that integrate information from various systems, monitoring and analyzing data to identify areas for enhancement.
  • Ensure systems and process compliance by establishing and enforcing data management practices and information governance concepts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Health Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Seven years' recent experience in a large organization working with computerized health information systems, including two years' experience in a supervisory/leadership role.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize data and metrics across different functions and systems.
  • Ability to operate related equipment and applicable software.
