Job Title: Front Desk Associate

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Associate to join our team at Hearthstone Inn - Port Hawkesbury. As a Front Desk Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.

Responsibilities:

  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms
  • Process group arrivals and departures
  • Take, cancel and change room reservations
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Provide customer service

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
