About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and organized Help Desk Support Specialist to join our team at Future-Tech Canada. As a key member of our support staff, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective technical assistance to our customers.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in technical support, with experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

You will also have a solid understanding of network systems, including set up and maintenance.

Able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, you will be able to manage multiple incidents simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or in-person
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, resolving problems efficiently and effectively
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and incident resolutions
  • Collaborate with other support team members to resolve complex issues
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of new technologies and systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum 1-2 years of technical support experience
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and time management skills

Benefits

FUTURE-TECH CANADA offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
