Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Yorkdale Cafe Ltd. in Toronto, Canada.
About the RoleThis is a permanent full-time position that offers an estimated salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on industry standards and the cost of living in Toronto.
As a Restaurant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as train them in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures;
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure that orders are placed accordingly;
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing complaints or concerns in a professional manner;
- Prepare and submit reports, including sales data and inventory management;
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs;
- Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are adequately trained and prepared for their shifts;
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field;
- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role in a fast-paced restaurant environment;
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff;
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure, and maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy;
