About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Construction Renovation Manager to join our team at DNM Construction Management Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the renovation process from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documentation.
- Project Scheduling: Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules specific to renovation workflows using project management software.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate with architects, interior designers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure accurate estimates and alignment with project timelines.
- Job Execution: Manage jobs effectively, ensuring tasks are executed according to specifications and timelines, while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress and performance against the schedule and budget, making adjustments as necessary.
- Risk Analysis: Conduct detailed risk analysis and develop strategies to mitigate potential delays and cost overruns related to renovation projects.
- Invoicing: Oversee the invoicing process, ensuring that all billings are accurate and submitted timely to clients and subcontractors.
- Subcontractor Management: Review subcontractor bids, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective solutions for each renovation project.
- Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering communication and collaboration.
- Safety and Quality: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the renovation project lifecycle.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports on project status, including cost estimates, schedule performance, invoicing status, and any arising issues to stakeholders.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, interior design, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating, project management, and scheduling.
- Proven experience in quoting, managing jobs, and invoicing within the construction or renovation industry.
- Proficient in project management and estimating software.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations in the renovation industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, especially related to interior design aesthetics and functionality.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple renovation projects simultaneously.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM, or equivalent) are a plus.
