Installs Helper

Lyons Timber Mart is currently seeking an **Installs Helpe**r to join our roster. **You **will work out of our Wellington West location. Lyons Ltd. has been part of the community since 1913 - today, we continue the tradition of being a family owned business serving Algoma as Island Timber Mart Kent’s Corner, Lyons Timber Mart Black Rd., and Lyons Timber Mart Wellington.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Assist with the completion of various home renovation projects including bathroom and kitchen renovations, basement finishing, eaves troughs, blown in insultation, and general home improvements.
- Prepare work area safely, clean up work area at end of shift.
- Assist with planning and executing the project timeline.
- Ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Safe use of power and hand tools
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
- Perform quality checks and ensure work meets company standards.
- Assist with outdoor maintenance and store property maintenance.
- Assist with other duties as required or assigned by management.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in construction is an asset.
- Experience working with hand and power tools.
- Must be comfortable working in a noisy and fast paced environment.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic math skills: ability to read a tape measure; basic measurement calculations.
- Must have excellent safety record and steel toe boots.
