About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as an Infant Feeding Specialist. This role plays a crucial part in promoting, protecting, and supporting breastfeeding and healthy infant feeding practices across our region.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work collaboratively with our Early Years team, and have a strong understanding of lactation and infant feeding principles. Experience providing direct breastfeeding support and education is essential for success in this position.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field (Dietician, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, or Registered Nurse)
  • International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant Certification or the ability to obtain within 3 years of employment
  • Minimum one year of related experience, preferably in public health or community settings
  • Critical thinking skills, including judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving
  • Demonstrated cultural humility and respect for diversity
