About the Opportunity

The Health Support Aide plays a crucial role in the Surgical team, providing daily care and support to patients/clients with activities of daily living. Responsibilities may include:

  • Providing basic comforts
  • Specimen collection
  • Support functions under the guidance of licensed healthcare professionals

We are seeking an individual with a strong foundation in health care, preferably with Grade 12 and relevant experience or education. Knowledge of infection control procedures is an asset, as well as current BCLS certification.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with patients/clients, hospital staff, and the public. Proficiency in multiple languages, particularly French, is also an asset.

Hours and Compensation

This permanent, full-time position offers 75 hours bi-weekly, with a competitive hourly rate of $19.26 - $20.02.
