Physiotherapist - Rehabilitation Services Specialist

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health. As a Physiotherapist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough medical histories and perform standardized tests to determine physical diagnoses
- Develop holistic treatment programs using exercises, education, and manual, mechanical, electrical, and hydrotherapy techniques
- Communicate effectively with healthcare disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers regarding health promotion, physiotherapy treatment, and patient management
- Supervise and evaluate physiotherapy students and supervise physiotherapy assistants and aides
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university
- Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists
- Computer skills, including statistics input and word processing
- Annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification (BCLS)
- Annual Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System training and certification (WHMIS)

Nova Scotia Health offers a competitive salary range of $33.97 - $42.89 hourly, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, and a defined benefit pension plan.
