Event Planner Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Event Planner to join our team at World of Advertising Inc. as a key member of our events team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement marketing and communication plans to promote events and activities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to plan and execute conferences, meetings, and other events.
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers as needed.
  • Manage event budgets, including preparing and presenting financial reports.
  • Coordinate logistics, including shipping, receiving, and storage.
  • Arrange for media services, speakers, and equipment setup.
  • Plan and coordinate trade shows and exhibits.
  • Develop registration systems and information materials.
  • Research and design special events programs.
  • Plan social events and guest programs.
  • Develop policies and procedures and attend to other management responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in event planning or a related field.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 40 hours per week.
Work Environment:

The Event Planner will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure.
