About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Event Planning Specialist to join our team at World of Advertising Inc. as a Marketing and Communications Coordinator. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in event planning, marketing, and communications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Marketing and Communications Plans
    • Design and execute marketing campaigns to promote events and services
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and partners
  • Coordinate and Manage Events
    • Plan and execute conferences, trade shows, and other events
    • Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, and audiovisual equipment
  • Recruit and Supervise Staff
    • Recruit, hire, and train staff as needed
    • Supervise and manage staff to ensure successful event execution
  • Manage Budgets and Finances
    • Develop and manage budgets for events and marketing campaigns
    • Monitor and report on expenses and revenue
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Experience
    • 3 years of experience in event planning, marketing, or communications
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced office environment with frequent travel required
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
