PLC Product and Application Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the qualification and technical support of automation products for our target customers, mainly machine builders and integrators/installers.
  • Carry out appropriate training (technical and applications) for our sales force, whether itinerant or sedentary, as well as for our customers and prospects.
  • Support the sales force by analyzing the market (needs, competition, etc.)
  • Identify and develop, with our Hub, applications that meet the needs of our target markets.
  • Support the production and translation of technical and commercial documentation.
  • Analyze customer specifications to propose the best technical and economic solution.
  • Propose product/function upgrades as part of the life cycle of our products, or new products to our factory.
Requirements:
  • BAC +2/3 to BAC +5 in automation/industrial computing, such as DUT / BUT / Licence.
  • Knowledge of various PLCs on the market, as well as mastery of their associated programming languages.
  • Experience with the CODESYS development environment is an asset.
  • Skills in field networks, safety PLCs, and communication systems.
  • Computer literacy.
  • English is an integral part of the working environment.
