About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Consultant to join our team at N. Harris Computer Corporation - USA. As an Application Consultant, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth through the implementation of our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform implementation tasks, training, consulting, and other implementation and/or support services for customers on our software product line.
  • Interpret customer requirements and define necessary system setups.
  • Respond to incoming implementation support calls and resolve issues accordingly.
  • Develop close working relationships with project coordinators and primary contacts at each client site to ensure successful implementation and training activities.
  • Project coordination and management may be required on an individual project basis.
  • Collaborate with staff in Professional Services, Customer Support, and Development to troubleshoot technical and functional questions that may arise during the implementation process.
  • Provide feedback to project coordinators, management, and other team members to help improve our software or aid in the overall implementation process.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest knowledge and awareness of our software applications and related technologies.
  • Coordinate data conversions, cleanse and integrate data, and review newly converted data with clients to ensure accuracy.
  • Database skills and the ability to perform queries in SQL are highly valued.
  • Documentation and communication of work tasks are critical components of this role.
  • Update internal tracking systems and time entry.
  • Provide customer support as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet changing business needs.
  • Travel up to 50% may be required.
Requirements
  • At least five years of experience in the field of software application consulting or implementation.
  • Previous training experience in software applications.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills to resolve issues.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Working knowledge of Windows 10 & 11/ Windows Server 2016+.
  • Customer service experience is essential.
  • Strong time management, planning, and organizing skills are required.
  • Ability to interpret business requirements and recommend solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Utility billing knowledge.
  • Financial/accounting knowledge.
  • Previous project management experience.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and relational database applications.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, SQL SSMS, and writing SQL queries.
  • Experience with data migrations, database tables/layouts, and ability to write scripts to convert data from existing systems to our database structure.
