Job Title: Information Technology Specialist

We are currently seeking an Information Technology Specialist to support our clients in Saskatchewan.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Information Technology Specialist to oversee and support the organization's IT infrastructure and systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing IT operations, ensuring system performance and security, and providing technical support to end-users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain IT systems and infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and network equipment
  • Monitor and ensure the security, performance, and reliability of IT systems
  • Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
  • Implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Assist in planning and executing IT projects, including system upgrades and installations
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems, configurations, and procedures
  • Collaborate with other IT professionals and departments to support system integration and application development
  • Manage data backups and disaster recovery processes
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in information technology, computer science, or a related field
  • Previous experience in an IT role, with a focus on system administration, network management, or technical support
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and security protocols
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Experience with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and networking technologies
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Specialist) are a plus
