Strategic Leader for Commercial Solutions

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our team as an Associate Vice President (AVP) of Commercial Solutions. This role will be responsible for driving business growth and success in the Canadian Western Regions, focusing on the Manufacturing, Construction, Transportation, and Energy sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement business plans and strategies to achieve financial and business goals.
- Lead and manage teams to deliver broker-focused products and services, ensuring a strong understanding of company products and services.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with brokers and industry groups to promote Sovereign Insurance.
- Manage regulatory risk and ensure compliance with business processes and controls.
- Lead and engage teams to deliver strategic objectives through effective coaching and mentoring.
- 10+ years of progressive insurance industry experience, including in-depth experience in the Commercial Mid-Market space.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- CIP designation an asset.
- Proven track record as a successful commercial insurance leader with expertise in Manufacturing, Construction, Transportation, and Energy segment commercial lines within the broker distribution channel.
- Experience leading teams to build a strong broker distribution portfolio.
- Ability to build strategic plans and lead teams to solve complex problems and achieve delivery targets.
