Business Development Leader

CA001 Marsh Canada Limited is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our captive business development efforts. As a Business Development Leader - Captive Solutions, you will be responsible for driving growth, generating opportunities, and providing strategic direction to clients in Canada and offshore domiciles.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead business development efforts to support the growth of our captive business and other alternative solutions.
- Collaborate with the global captive practice to develop captive feasibility studies and provide strategic direction to clients.
- Offer expertise to our extensive client base throughout Canada and offshore domiciles.
- Develop and manage relationships with key onshore and offshore regulators.
- Provide clients and prospects with captive education and overall strategic direction.
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting, or related fields.
- 10+ years of experience in captives, alternative risk, insurance, and/or analytics.
- Strong selling and execution skills with a successful track record of new business growth.
- Knowledge of commercial insurance lines.
- Collaborative style with the ability to lead through influence.
- Insurance Broker License (or willingness to acquire upon joining).
