Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Commercial Management Leader to join our team. This role will be instrumental in driving commercial success across our projects by providing strategic guidance, managing contractual relationships, and ensuring financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Improvement & Stakeholder Engagement: Lead the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the commercial function. Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Indigenous communities, apprenticeship organizations, and community members, to foster collaboration and mutual understanding.
  • Business Acumen & Strategic Insight: Possess a deep understanding of critical success factors for project delivery and the value chain's impact on overall business performance. Analyze customer needs and develop strategies to deliver exceptional value, leveraging knowledge management systems to share best practices and commercial insights.
  • Contractual Expertise & Financial Management: Ensure clear communication and adherence to contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of costs, codes, standards, and specifications. Provide financial guidance to the project team, including resource allocation strategies, cash flow forecasting, and profit/loss analysis.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of proven experience in construction project management, commercial management, or a similar role.
  • Extensive expertise in project controls (costs and scheduling), contract administration, and financial analysis.

Working Conditions

This role is primarily office-based with occasional travel to project sites. Work may be conducted in various environments, including trailers or existing on-site structures.
