Environmental Compliance Specialist

We are seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist to join our team at INVISTA (Canada) Company, Maitland Site. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the site's environmental programs and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and administer environmental programs, including air, water, and waste management.
- Conduct environmental audits and risk assessments to ensure full compliance with regulations and corporate policies.
- Represent the site in environmental matters, liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on environmental matters.
- Manage chemicals at the facility and promote continuous improvement efforts in the environmental arena.
- Stay up-to-date with changes to environmental regulations and ensure the site remains compliant.
- Degree in Environmental or STEM field.
- Experience in a manufacturing chemical facility, including co-op or internship experience.
- Computer software experience, including Excel for data analysis and trending.
- Experience applying federal and provincial regulations for manufacturing industries.
- Experience with environmental reporting programs and environmental management systems.
- Knowledge of AspenTech's Engineering Suite and experience with P&IDs drawings.
