Environmental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Intern to join our team at ADM. As an EHS Intern, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our facility and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections of facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards
Assist in accident and incident investigations and follow up on corrective actions
Develop and implement current programs, records, and reports related to health and safety, government, and environmental compliance
Communicate daily with management on issues related to facility safety, food safety, and environmental issues
Assist with third-party and regulatory audits in their respective areas of responsibility
Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from an approved institution
Certified in First Aid, CPR, & AED Training
Minimum work experience in a dedicated health and safety position with knowledge of industrial environmental/regulatory compliance
Strong leadership skills and ability to work as a member of a strong team
