About the Role

This position is responsible for ensuring the safety of the ADM facility with respect to employee health and safety and compliance. The successful candidate will work closely with the Plant Manager, EHS Manager, Production Managers, and other stakeholders to achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain current programs, records, and reports related to health and safety, government, and environmental compliance.
  • Communicate daily with management on issues related to facility safety, food safety, and environmental issues.
  • Assist with third-party and regulatory audits in their respective areas of responsibility.
  • Ensure that corrective action plans are implemented so that any deficiencies identified by an audit are addressed in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Excellent command of computers, communications, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work as a member of a strong team.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written English is required for this position due to business transactions and communication with American and other Canadian colleagues).
  • Proven experience with High-speed production.
  • Education or work experience in Occupational Health and Safety from an approved institution.
