About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental, Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Equest. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement effective EHS management systems to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  2. Provide leadership and direction to our team to achieve EHS excellence and support business objectives.
  3. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  4. Collaborate with facility leadership to develop and implement EHS training programs and ensure employee understanding and adherence to EHS policies.
  5. Partner with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and government agencies.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree or higher in Safety & Health, Environmental, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  3. Strong knowledge of OSHA and OHSA regulations and compliance.
  4. Experience with incident investigations, corrective actions, and EHS management systems.
  5. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
