Strategic EHS Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental, Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Equest. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective EHS management systems to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Provide leadership and direction to our team to achieve EHS excellence and support business objectives.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with facility leadership to develop and implement EHS training programs and ensure employee understanding and adherence to EHS policies.
- Partner with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and government agencies.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Safety & Health, Environmental, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and OHSA regulations and compliance.
- Experience with incident investigations, corrective actions, and EHS management systems.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
