Restaurant Operations Manager

Adecco Canada is actively seeking a dedicated and ambitious Manager in Training (MIT) for a full-time role in Pickering, ON, offering an annual salary of $50,000. In this role, you will work closely with the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) to oversee the daily operations of a restaurant, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction, increased sales, and high employee retention.
Responsibilities:
**Daily Operations Management**
Assist the RGM in managing daily operations of a restaurant with 15-25 employees, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and activities.
**Customer Satisfaction**
Direct the efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products to maximize customer satisfaction, resulting in increased customer loyalty and retention.
**Team Management**
Motivate and support team members to deliver an exceptional customer experience, providing coaching and feedback to enhance performance and productivity.
**Facility Maintenance**
Ensure the restaurant is cleaner than others and well-maintained, supporting the RGM in preventive maintenance of the restaurant facility and equipment.
**Financial Management**
Manage inventory and labor, applying financial reporting analysis to enhance results and drive business growth.
**Compliance and Risk Management**
Ensure compliance with government regulations, Redberry policies, employment laws, food safety, security, and operational standards, minimizing risk and ensuring a safe working environment.
**Recruitment and Talent Management**
Assist in recruiting, selecting, hiring, and retaining effective team talent, supporting the RGM in building a high-performing team.
Requirements:
**Eligibility**
Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
**Availability**
Be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
**Education and Experience**
High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred, with 1-2 years of restaurant management experience.
**Certification and Training**
Ability to complete all internal certification programs, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
**Transportation**
Must have reliable transportation, ensuring timely attendance and punctuality.
