Job Overview

This role presents an opportunity to contribute to the project lifecycle, encompassing origination, structuring, execution, implementation, and monitoring. As a key member of the Real Estate team, you will assist in researching and administering tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in project teams, contributing to all aspects of project structuring and execution, including comprehensive research and analysis of market information and financial performance data;
  • Assist with designing and processing technical co-operation assistance, preparing terms of reference and internal approval documentation;
  • Evaluate potential risks related to proposed projects, analyzing financial statements, preparing and updating financial models, and financial projections;
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal units, preparing correspondence, presentations, and following up on emails;
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks to high quality standards, aligning with Bank policies, procedures, and objectives;
Portfolio Monitoring, Value Creation, and Reporting
  • Monitor progress of assigned projects, assessing evolving risk factors, covenant compliance, and financial performance;
  • Prepare comprehensive draft monitoring reports, recommending corrective actions where required;
  • Implement and monitor technical co-operation assignments, communicating with TC clients and tracking fund usage;
Miscellaneous Tasks
  • Conduct ad hoc research on industry trends, regulatory updates, and market conditions;
  • Compile, organize, and synthesize data for business cases and executive reports;
  • Prepare presentations for internal meetings and client engagements;
  • Support administrative tasks, scheduling meetings, coordinating events, and managing documentation.
Qualifications & Skills/Experience & Knowledge
  • Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred or equivalent experience in areas of expertise;
  • Professional qualifications like ACA, CFA, ACCA, or CIMA desirable;
  • Quantitative skills, interpreting financial information, and designing financial models;
  • Credit analysis skills, understanding local and international accounting principles;
  • Computer literacy, Microsoft Office proficiency, and spreadsheet packages;
  • Good understanding of relevant systems and processes;
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines, and effective communication skills;

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £50,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience. The EBRD is an inclusive employer, promoting flexible working and expecting employees to attend the office 50% of their working time.
