We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Wellington North Power Inc. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and organized individual to contribute to the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees.
- Determine fixed assets and depreciation values, providing critical financial insights to inform business decisions.
- Manage financial records, including ledgers and statements, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and prepare trial balances to maintain the accuracy of our financial statements.
- Develop and maintain statistical, financial, and accounting reports to provide stakeholders with valuable insights into our company's performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel, QuickBooks, and other relevant software.
- Able to work independently, with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Working Conditions
- This is an on-site position, requiring regular attendance at our office location.
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation
The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
