The role of an Office Manager at GLT Transportation Inc. is a dynamic and challenging position that requires strong administrative skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Job SummaryThis is a permanent full-time opportunity that involves overseeing various aspects of office operations, including managing day-to-day activities, coordinating office services, and administering policies and procedures.
A key responsibility of this role is to establish and maintain effective work processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant legislation. This includes reviewing and evaluating new administrative procedures, establishing priorities, and ensuring deadlines are met.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for coordinating and planning office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
In addition, this individual will assist in preparing the operating budget, maintaining inventory and budgetary controls, assembling data, and preparing periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Oversight: Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.
- Task Prioritization: Establish and maintain effective work processes, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Office Services Coordination: Coordinate and plan office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
- Budgeting and Financial Management: Assist in preparing the operating budget, maintaining inventory and budgetary controls.
- Reporting and Communication: Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
We offer a competitive salary of approximately $45,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This figure is based on industry standards and market conditions.
