About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Subway Restaurant. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our customer needs.
    • Train and develop our staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to provide excellent customer service and to maintain high standards of food quality and safety.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish and implement effective systems and procedures to manage our restaurant's operations, including inventory management, stock control, and waste reduction.
    • Monitor and control costs, ensuring that we are operating within our budget and that we are achieving our financial targets.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Monitor and improve our customer service standards, ensuring that we are meeting our customers' expectations and exceeding their needs.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that our food meets the highest quality standards, adhering to our quality control procedures and guidelines.

  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports on our restaurant's performance, including sales, customer service, and quality control metrics.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Setting
