As a Content Writer at Digital Shift, your skills will play a pivotal role in enhancing the way our clients' stories are communicated online. We are leaders in search engine optimization, and your contributions will help ensure our clients' messages stand out through outstanding blog articles, persuasive service descriptions, and engaging marketing materials.

In this role, reporting to the Content Lead, you will be an essential part of our committed team, developing content strategies that combine SEO expertise with imaginative storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive research on relevant industry topics to generate insightful content ideas.
  • Draft structured content that showcases clarity, voice, specificity, and creativity.
  • Create innovative and attention-grabbing headlines and copy.
  • Deliver well-researched and precise content within established deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the SEO and outreach teams to achieve client goals.
  • Review creative briefs, edit drafts, and finalize content for approval.
  • Follow client-specific editorial and SEO guidelines meticulously.

Qualifications

Required:

  • A degree or diploma in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of full-time experience in content writing, communications, or a similar capacity.
  • Exceptional grammar skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Advanced writing abilities, employing logic, rhetorical techniques, and persuasive strategies.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of on-page SEO practices and tools.
  • Experience in an agency environment or a professional content creation setting.

This position is primarily remote, requiring a motivated and self-driven individual who can meet deadlines while remaining engaged and connected through project management and team collaboration tools.
