Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at DIWAN A DAWETT RESTAURANT LTD O/A DAWETT RESTAURANT. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policies and Procedures: Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient office operations.
  • Office Management: Determine and establish office procedures and routines to maintain a productive work environment.
  • Scheduling: Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and events.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and respond to electronic enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Supply Management: Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels to ensure a well-stocked office.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Documentation: Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 30 to 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced office environment and must be able to communicate effectively in English.
