Job Title: Methods Analyst II

About the Role:

The Edmonton Police Service is seeking a highly skilled Methods Analyst II to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of strategic plans, performance measurement frameworks, and business intelligence solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain performance measurement frameworks to assess strategic and business outcomes across various EPS project portfolios.
  • Design and implement data visualization tools to support business decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to collect and analyze data, identify trends, and develop insights to inform business strategies.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and scorecards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business outcomes.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify best practices and emerging trends in performance measurement and business intelligence.
  • Develop and deliver reports and presentations to executive audiences to communicate business insights and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • University degree in a related field, such as business administration, statistics, economics, or engineering.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in strategic planning, operations, performance measurement, analytics, and reporting.
  • Experience developing and implementing performance measurement frameworks, developing KPIs, and linking measures and outcomes to strategic or business goals.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
