Role Overview

Are you a visionary professional with expertise in enhancing processes and a solid foundation in project management? In the capacity of a Business Analyst, you will deliver project coordination, business analysis, process optimization, documentation, and program support services that are essential for achieving Divisional goals.

Your role will also involve ensuring that the proposed protocols, procedures, policies, and system enhancements effectively support business operations while adhering to legislative, policy, and user requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities associated with this role include (but are not limited to):

1. Oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that enhanced program/service delivery aligns with the strategic objectives of the Branch and Division by leveraging your understanding of business and stakeholder requirements, business process design, Lean Six Sigma methodologies, and project management;

Develop Project Plans, Business Cases, Statements of Work, and other essential Project Management documentation. Formulate project schedules, resource assessments, and create and monitor work plans for the completion of project tasks. Utilize strong stakeholder engagement skills to drive collaboration and ensure that project objectives meet established quality standards and timelines.

2. Deliver business analysis services that encompass requirements assessments, business case formulation, process engineering, and process modeling for the maintenance and enhancement of current programs and applications;

Gather information from stakeholders and document business processes through maps, standard operating procedures, checklists, FAQs, and other formats; Apply knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles to foster continuous improvement in business processes; Provide expertise and support for the identification, development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of existing programs and applications; Comprehend the business needs and objectives that facilitate the maintenance, development, design, and implementation of business solutions aimed at simplifying, improving, automating, and/or establishing new business operations; Review and assess business deliverables, integrating user perspectives to ensure alignment with project and business objectives; Collaborate with Senior Business Advisors, Senior Training Advisors, Knowledge Management Analysts, and Program Excellence Managers.

3. Manage organizational changes resulting from the enablement of business applications and re-engineering of processes;

Develop and coordinate the creation and execution of a communication strategy for internal and external stakeholders regarding business process changes or enhancements; Design and facilitate change management initiatives to prepare users for new business processes and tools associated with process improvements; Partner with the Senior Training Analyst to identify, coordinate, and implement suitable training strategies, plans, tools, and materials for all affected users;
