Job Summary

The Clinical Excellence Leader will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of clinical practices, processes, and documentation to ensure high-quality patient care. This role will also involve facilitating quality improvement changes in collaboration with clinical leaders, Information and Technology Services, and other stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also have experience with project management, change management, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement clinical practices, processes, and documentation to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Facilitate quality improvement changes in collaboration with clinical leaders, Information and Technology Services, and other stakeholders
  • Lead the coordination, implementation, and completion of projects or initiatives related to clinical excellence
  • Collaborate with site/departmental leadership to develop and implement strategic plans to improve clinical outcomes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare discipline
  • Relevant professional development in process improvement, change management, information technology/information management, project management, group facilitation, and coaching
  • 5-7 years of experience in front-line clinical care and related fields, including experience working in clinical operations and EMR use
  • Ability to guide, coach, teach, and promote a learning environment and continuous quality improvement
  • Ability to take a 'can-do' approach to resolving issues and working with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong documentation skills and demonstrated ability to develop detailed clinical or technical documentation, training aides, and how-to documents
  • Intermediate computer skills and ability to work comfortably with spreadsheets, presentations, diagramming, and word processing software (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word)
