BC Cancer - Prince George is seeking a Radiation Oncologist to join our team in the heart of British Columbia.

The successful applicant will be part of a collaborative care team committed to excellence, to participate in clinical, research, administrative and educational activities. Participation within the provincial tumour groups is encouraged.

The Radiation Oncologist will have a clinical appointment at UBC Faculty of Medicine, Department of Surgery, Division of Radiation Oncology, and will have privileges through both the Provincial Health Services Authority, and our partner health authority at the University Hospital of Northern British Columbia.

The successful applicant must be eligible for licensure in British Columbia, must have obtained a Fellowship in Radiation Oncology from the RCPSC or hold an equivalent qualification by the time of appointment, and must meet the requirements for appointment to medical staff of BC Cancer and University Hospital of British Columbia.

Canadian Immigration regulations accord preference to Canadian citizens and landed immigrants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical care to patients with cancer
  • Participate in research and academic activities
  • Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
