Salary

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of $78,678.00 - $104,781.00 per year, as per the collective agreement. Salary steps will be determined based on previous experience.

Job Description

This role will involve working primarily in elementary and secondary schools within a defined geographic region. Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing student-specific assessment, consultation, and intervention services to support a caseload of students with communication delays or disorders.
  • Engaging in professional development and supports related to whole-class, small-group, and individual learning.
  • Collaborating with educators and students in specialized language programs/classrooms.
  • Supporting early literacy programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Master's degree from an accredited university.
  • Current registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills, and flexibility.
  • Experience working with children with receptive and expressive language and early literacy delays.
  • Knowledge of current evidence-based practices in Speech-Language Pathology.
