Job Summary

This high-impact role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the strategic planning cycle, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and oversee major projects that will transform the way we serve our communities. You will have a hands-on role in guiding the execution of our strategic plan, including the development and implementation of corporate strategies, performance metrics, and annual operating plans.

Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with executive leadership to refine Halton Healthcare's strategic vision and ensure it aligns with our mission and long-term goals.
  • Design and implement integrated planning frameworks that align executive and program teams, enabling efficient execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous quality improvement, advocating for evidence-based practices that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

As the Strategic Planning Director, you will be responsible for providing executive committees with data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to promote transparent, accountable governance. Your leadership will ensure that all strategic initiatives, from day-to-day operations to large-scale transformation projects like One Halton Healthcare, are executed effectively and aligned with the hospital's vision for the future.

Requirements
  • Collaborate with finance teams to ensure strategic priorities are adequately resourced, optimizing budgets and resource allocation to achieve organizational goals.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare partners and community organizations, to foster collaboration and improve healthcare delivery.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to drive complex projects forward and collaborate with cross-functional teams. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of experience in strategic planning or a related field are required.
