Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary of $39.07 to $56.00 per hour, reflecting their experience and qualifications. Job Description: Pediatric Nurse CaregiverWe are seeking an experienced Pediatric Nurse Caregiver to join our team at Halton Healthcare Services. This role involves providing quality patient care to pediatric patients and their families, as well as cross-training on the postpartum unit and/or SCN. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a clear patient focus, and the ability to manage execution and foster teamwork and cooperation.
- Provide quality patient care to pediatric patients and their families

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Current Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- BCLS required at time of hire
- Minimum 2-5 years recent Paediatric experience required
- PALS certificate an asset
- Related courses in paediatric nursing preferred
- Venipuncture and I.V. therapy skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with families
- Demonstrated ability to support the breastfeeding woman
- Breastfeeding certificate required
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize
- Cross-training to Maternal Child Unit an asset
- Good team player
- Satisfactory employment and attendance record
This role is based at one of our locations in the Halton region, with various rotating 12-hour shifts available. We strive to provide a healthy work-life balance and offer flexible scheduling options to accommodate our employees' needs.
