Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Thai Express. This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate special events such as corporate functions and parties
- Determine the size of food portions and costs to ensure profitability
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a high level of quality and freshness
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the high standards of our customers
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances to ensure their safety and satisfaction
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality
- Order supplies and equipment to maintain a well-stocked kitchen
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction
