The role of Financial Advisor plays a crucial part in this mission. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for proactively leading sales and advisory services to members, maximizing opportunities for CUA to meet their financial and banking needs.

To achieve this goal, you will execute strategic business development to secure new members, particularly in target market segments defined by CUA. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that all sales and advisory services directly help members to achieve their full financial potential and meet CUA's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and execute ways to meet customers' needs through a strong understanding of their requirements and expert knowledge of products and services
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers to increase sales and revenue
  • Collaborate with the Branch Manager to establish and achieve sales targets and business objectives

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in Business Administration with three to five years relevant experience in a financial institution; or, equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Experience in engaging in and securing new business from existing and prospective customers
  • Strong knowledge in financial advice and planning
  • Expertise in general banking services, including detailed knowledge of financial products and services
